I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. I hold a Masters in Education with a focus on Mental Health Counseling. I have been in practice for over 12 years and I truly love what I do. In private practice, I work with children, teens, and young adults. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a Director at Bay Area Community Resources, which provides mental health services in schools through out Marin.

I live in Marin and enjoy connecting with others, listening to musicals, thrifting, and trying (often unsuccessfully) to keep indoor plants alive.

I understand that finding the right therapist for yourself or your child can be overwhelming. It takes a lot of strength to begin the process of therapy and I applaud you for taking the first step. Entering into a therapeutic relationship is all about building trust. I provide a relaxed, non-judgmental, and compassionate atmosphere in which you can safely explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I truly want to get to know who you are and how we can work together to reach your goals, work on changing behaviors that are no longer suiting your needs, and modify unhealthy thinking styles.

I offer an integrative approach to client-centered therapy, using humanistic and cognitive behavioral techniques. This means I believe it is important to adapt my counseling style to your specific needs as we focus on talking through and altering what you are concerned about.

Everyone goes through difficult times (no matter what you see on social media!). You don’t have to go through them alone. I believe you cannot have too many people in your corner, so I am so glad you are exploring options for therapy.
